Design Project 1 "Quick Project Elements and Principles" - Foundation Studies 

This photo was taken last year when I was in the UNSW Foundation Studies. We were briefed to design four 2D designs which express four different principles ( focal point, scale, rhythm, and balance ) and need to consider the relationship across the four designs. In this design, only letters from Century Gothic, Ariel, Times New Roman or Bookman Old Style typeface that can be used and should apply at least three colours for the whole design. We were asked to explore space and form in two dimensions and this project let the student experiments with a range of materials and methods. This project helps the student to develop skills in drawing and in visual presentation. Moreover, it helps to develop skills in critical and conceptual thinking too.
